The PRC V2 pedal boxes are a perfect solution to overcome the problem. By having the master cylinder mounting at the front of the pedal box and rear facing, this allows you to push the pedal box right up against the firewall/bulkhead without the need of the master cylinders to be in the engine bay. With the master cylinders at your feet, you can use a master cylinder aluminium cover plate to protect your ankles!
Lightweight range dual brake master cylinder bias controlled pedal boxes have been designed to offer the driver the highest level of efficiency in this critical area. The CNC Machined Pedals, together with low friction and high-quality oil impregnated spherical bearings set new standards in pedal box design. The pedal pads are also CNC Machined Billet aluminium which can be adjusted in multiple positions to allow the driver to have different pedal ratio options and also comfort.
The base box frame has been developed out of fabricated Mild Steel to provide an improved robustness and strength which is designed to mount up against the bulkhead to provide further support. On the front of the frame, it has 2 x mounting points for your brake master cylinders (will fit the majority of master cylinders on the market). These mounting holes have been cleverly designed to allow the master cylinders to mount at an angle so the pipework does not interfere with your feet.
The Accelerator Pedal is equipped with two throttle stops that can be adjusted to suit your pedal throw and also a sensitive return spring. On the rear of the pedal, it has the throttle cable linkage installed as standard although it is also Drive By Wire (DBW) Compatible. Simply remove the linkage and replace with a Linear Potentiometer.
The pedals are secured to the pedal box by a stainless steel shaft that slots through each pedal.
