These Self Weld components are for any special tank builds that are for a specific Race Car application.

All our fuel fillers have a sealing 'O' ring in the top.

This products is manufactured out of grade 6061 Aluminium.

Aluminium 6061 is a medium to high strength heat-treatable alloy.

It has very good corrosion resistance and very good weldability although reduced strength in the weld zone.

It has medium fatigue strength.

6061 is typically used for heavy duty structures in:

  • Ship Building
  • Military Applications
  • Aerospace applications including helicopter rotor skins
  • Motorboats
