Fuel Surge Tank System with Internal Fuel Pump

The Brand New Relaunched Fuel Surge Tank system is the perfect solution for preventing fuel starvation in your fuel set up. Unlike the obp Swirl Pots, which operate by using external in line fuel pumps, the FST set up operates by using internal fuel pumps that sit within a small reservoir of fuel that is maintained in the system to ensure that the high pressure fuel pumps have a constant supply at source so it is always able to feed your engine.

The FST Tank sits in between the fuel tank and engine rail. A pump is used to feed the FST tank from the fuel pump and then the internal pumps feed fuel filters before reaching the rail. Any excessive fuel from the fuel rail is then returned to the Fuel Surge Tank through a Pressure Regulator.

The obp Fuel Surge tank system features a Black Anodised CNC Aluminium Lid & Mounting boss that sits upon a 3mm Aluminium Powdercoated Black tank. The boss is securely through a Viton O Ring and the use of 10 Stainless Steel Bolts before being leak tested.

On the the top you fill find:

• AN6 Breather Port
• AN6 Return Line
• AN6 Feed From the Fuel Tank
• AN6 Outlet

The Surge Tank system is available with with ether a single Bosch 044 Equivalent pump (OBPFP300B) or Twin GSS342 Equivalent pumps (OBPFP342).

Single Pump Set Up includes (OBP-FST-300)

• Fuel Surge Tank
• Bosch 044 Equivalent Fuel Pump x 1 (Capable of producing up to 270LPH and sufficient flow up to 500BHP)
• Bottom Filter Adaptor
• All wiring etc connected to the pump (already installed)
• Top wiring connectors so no need to open the tank!

Double Pump Set Up includes (OBP-FST-342)

• Fuel Surge Tank
• GSS342 Equivalent Fuel Pump x 2 (Capable of producing up to 340LPH and sufficient flow up to 500BHP)
• Bottom Filter Adaptor x 2
• All wiring etc connected to the pump (already installed)
• Top wiring connectors so no need to open the tank!
