Dzus self-ejecting quick-release fasteners are made for panels on curved or shaped surfaces, where the fastener needs to pop out for easy removal of the panel. The ejecting action also instantly shows that the fastener is unlocked. They have a flat, flush head for better aerodynamics and are made from zinc-plated mild steel.
