Joey Dunlop won the North West 200 13 times within 10 years. This feature length programme covers Joey s successes on the famous triangular circuit. Between 1979 and 1988, when Joey was at the height of his powers as a road racer, the Ballymoney publican stood on the top step of the North West 200 podium no less than 13 times. After his big crash in 1989 he never won the race again. This DVD examines his 13 wins through rare archive footage, interviews with Joey s friends and racing rivals of that period, and classic interviews with Yer Maun himself. Recent interviews with Carl Fogarty, Keith Huewen, Billy Nutt, Mervyn Whyte, and Barry Symmons, Brian Reid and others reflect on Joey s achievements at the North West 200.
