IFrameWe’ve been very busy here since our last blog (click here to read it) and now we have two Fiesta STs finished and ready to go for the first test day on this coming Sunday, the 21st of February. The cars have come together great and they are really starting to have the look of a race car about them. When we last left off the engine was being checked to ensure it complied with the series rules. This has now been re fitted along with a Helix competition paddle clutch disc and a Pipercross air filter. We have also fitted a Power Steering cooler kit that we designed and put together as this is known to be a problem with these particular cars. This kit can be bought complete from us for an easy plug and play solution. The interior has been finished to a very high standard with the use of a Sparco Circuit II Seat and Schroth Profi II-6H Harnesses. In this particular car we used FHR specific harnesses as the driver of this car wears a HANS device. The floor has been fitted with a carbon driver foot plate this not only looks nice but also helps to stop the drivers feet from slipping while on the pedals. Another driver aid is the BG-Racing Quick Release Hub Kit, this allows the steering wheel to be taken off further aiding the getting in and out of the vehicle. The car has also been fitted with Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 15 inch alloys along with the series specific Yokohama tyre, the A048R (195/50R15). The final piece of the puzzle is to find the optimum set up of the adjustable GAZ suspension kit.
