Most cars after 2005 have a CANBUS system. This is a multiplexed wiring system used to connect intelligent devices such as gearboxes and engine Electronic Controls Units (ECU's), Speed, ABS and Stereo information; allowing data to be transfered conveniently throughout the vehicle. This Brantz Sensor allows you to access this CANBUS system.

The Brantz CANBUS Interface can be plugged directly into the vehicles CANBUS System via the OBDII socket to obtain both power and the speed/distance information to be fed directly to the tripmeter. Ideal for modern hire cars or a race recce in your own modern car.
