GPV-R Helmet

The GPV-R helmet is a new, improved racing helmet from Arai, designed from the ground up for top-level motorsport. It has a lower visor position, which makes the top of the helmet smoother and more rounded. This helps spread out impact forces better, so hits are more likely to slide off instead of transferring energy into the helmet.

The visor area is 8mm taller for better visibility, and it includes a new central locking system. The helmet also meets the latest FIA safety standards.

Inside, the helmet has a fire-resistant lining and 7mm thick foam pads on both sides, which can be adjusted to fit up to two different sizes. The cheek pads are ready for a microphone, and the centre padding can be removed to fit hydration systems. It also comes with an M6 terminal, making it compatible with FHR (head and neck restraint) systems, so it’s almost ready to use straight away.

The GPV-R also offers more customization options to improve comfort and help drivers stay focused. It represents Arai’s latest step in safety and innovation.

It is certified to FIA 8859-2024 and Snell SA2025 safety standards.
